Tales of Times & Reflection on Self: The Axes
“Time is multi-dimensional while we humans are still exploring the limited axes of space.” It’s been almost 10 months since I have posted any blog, while a lot of half-done works are still pending in my draft list. It is interesting how my life and I are evolving; and this blog is more of a personal reflection.
Theophrastus, an ancient Greek philosopher and naturalist who is also considered the father of botany, said, “Time is the most valuable thing a man can spend.” But do we really understand time? If I am allowed to be biased towards my belief and scientific understanding, I would say no; despite the present evidence of physics and beyond. But we will come back to this fundamental question later along with the justified reasons for my stance.
When I look back just a few years and then look at myself now, I can see a huge difference; but none at the same time; the paradox of life I have been trying to simplify since the very start still remains rigid and firm. So, here I am, just about to witness my 25 years of existence in less than a week. Will it be right to say that I am a grown-up now? Or should I just…
Sometimes when I get the opportunity, I sit down alone in the living room, watching the twinkling city lights, and think about the 9-year-old me back in India whose life was all about watching TV, going to school, playing with friends, and spending weekends visiting Laxman Sidh Baba Mandir in our lovely Maruti 800. Life was different back then; no rat race, no deadlines, no forward thinking, and no big questions to solve. Maybe once we understand the true quantum structure of space and develop what Homo sapiens call a Time Machine, we may be able to accelerate the widening of the spectrum of knowledge.
Here I am, up in the northern part of the Earth, theorizing my efforts on developing a universal AI compiler that, in my hypothesis, should change how humans and machines communicate and will resolve some of the biggest challenges of mankind, including energy and the race to what we call super-intelligence.
Well, I have a lot to share, but again, as of now, until we resolve the limited and relatively linear understanding of time, we will need to cap this session and save the linearity for discovering the multi-dimensionality. Though this blog is just to serve as abstract for the series “Tales of Times & Reflection on Self“; we will go further deep in the coming blogs.
If you are a frequent reader, you know I always leave something at the end of each blog I share. Well, for this time, it’s about you, not me. Let’s catch up on an open Zoom session on 20th Dec 2025 for a virtual coffee session (drop me a mail at info@vinamrasharma.com for the Zoom link).
